OUR STORY:
Riverwood Custom Tops was born from the dreams of a small crew of dedicated woodworkers and craftsmen in historic Wilmington North Carolina. Our passion for good design and functionality is paired with a deep love of woodworking and desire to craft custom countertops that will look as good 50 years from now as they do today. The color and characture of our tops actually improve with age. Our focus is on quality, affordability and functionality. Simply put, we love what we do.
Diverse backgrounds as tree sawyers, boat and fine furniture builders, architects, designers and carpenters add to the mix of creative energy at Riverwood Custom Tops.
From personally selecting and sorting the nicest, kiln-dried Grade-A lumber, to gluing, dimensioning, final sanding and hand-rubbed finishes our craftsmen play an intimate role in bringing each countertop to life.
